WELCOME TO THE POKEMONWORLD NEW YEARS PARTY
11th January 7:00pm

PokemonWorld is having a party to celebrate the new year and you are all invited. This occasion is to celebrate the community and welcome in 2014 with a bang. We will have all the party essentials, Games, presents and CAKE (the cake is a lie )

We will be having a few tournaments held on Pokemon Showdown. One will be official tournament rules for the competitive members amongst us, with others being silly and fun rules thought up by your wonderful hosts on the day.

Other activities include a live quiz and a mafia game hosted by our wonderful founder Pokerob.

Come join us and show your love for the PW Community

We will be holding this on the 11th of January. It will start around 7:00pm - 7:30PM. A full schedule will be released shortly

You can count me in but this will be a squeeze for me competitive wise though as I don't have a competitive team yet so I'll have to carry it on tomorrow hopefully I can be ready on time if not I'll still come anyway sounds great!

Also this wont actually be on new years, will prob be a a week after or so as we need planning time and I'm busy new years myself

I would not be able to attend Mew Years itself like Samsonite - Its just to busy a time.
Like Samsonite said, this is why we're hosting it a week or so after.

The "Fun Rules" have been mostly decided upon and when I am next at my computer, I will conjure up a post regarding the Official Ruleset Tourney and the Fun Rules Tourney.

Also it should be noted that the Fun Rules tourney will be played using Pokemon Showdown since the current idea will require creating a team during the event.
The Official Rules may be played on Showdown, however that is for you to decide.
(Official Ruleset is most likely to be VGC2014)

Anyway, I need to ask something from everyone regarding the "Official Rule" Tourrnament.

The Official Rules will be the VGC 2014 Ruleset, and I am not sure how many of you have your Pokemon in-game yet. Hence why I ask you this:
Would you prefer to play using Game Card or Pokemon Showdown?
I will have my team ready for Definite by then for sure, but I am unaware of everyone else's progress.
