PSA Regarding the recent floods of Russian-spammers:

Hey all, I don't expect many of you to have noticed as I've been heavily deleting posts and banning users/ips in relation to these spam posts asap - however i dont know how active other mods have been removing said posts too.

I expect all of the members to be smart enough not to, however I feel it should be stated for clarity Do NOT Click on ANY links from any spam-posts, especially the Russian text linking to what appears to be casino sites (possibly illegal sites)!

There seems to have been an influx of these over the past couple weeks, with me having just cleaned up 10 separate threads which were affected not 10minutes ago.

Should you notice any spam-posts, notify a member of staff to delete it when we can, and do NOT react, do NOT click any links, and we hope this gets sorted soon

As a follow up to this, if you see one of these posts before a member of staff, please use the report button shown on the post. This will alert us to the post and allow staff to deal with it quicker.

Yeh I had to delete some from around 3:30am last night, catching it cos I've been up super late anyway

Its bots doing it. I'm working on a fix but for now we will have to keep on top of it
